What exactly is his status at this time?

From what I understand he basically has had the ability to open his eyes and squeeze his mothers hand. They looked at the EEG's and one doctor said he was brain dead and suggested they pull the plug. Another doctor disagreed and said we need to wait. Me and Stripes were talking awhile ago and he mentioned that even though Teri Schivo(sp?) was able to open her eyes, she was still brain dead. Only time will tell, they are going to wait and get 2nd and 3rd opinions but right now its not looking good.

I swear they haven't left my mind. I hope things come out ok, and he can end up leading a normal life, but things are not looking good.

I cannot stop thinking about it, after what happened to Derek Hubbard last year and now Ricky, it truly doesnt matter when things like this happen. Those are two of the best kids I have ever met in my 26 years on this earth period. And to see these things happen, breaks my heart to see this. I hope he recovers fully, he has a smile that could make anyone feel comfortable, I can hear him sayin "Mr. Braaaaayyy" right now.

Can't even imagine what the family is going through. The wait and the toll has to be tremendous.
I truly hope God produces a miracle here.
I hope as Jesus passes by, if not Ricky himself, someone can touch the hem of Jesus' garmet for him, to see him made whole.

My post should say Drew, not Derek. I just got a new computer and it has a a program that I had not turned off that gave the idea of what was typed or something
